technophobe in a china shop

I've just got back to Paris after spending three weeks in the UK weeding,planting hellebores, painting the shed and .... oh yes, seeing my children. The latter are thriving.
I've returned with renewed determination to "do something" so, since yesterday , I've enrolled in an Art group, had my eyes tested, had a blood sample taken and stowed away the 25 kgs of porridge oats we brought back with us. Yes, Paris is such a romantic city.
I also found out about my friend's new blog and she has inspired me to have a go with one of my own. I have no technical knowledge of computers, software or anything with a plug on the end of it but here goes...
